Immigration

HIRO works to help, inspire and to raise opportunity for newcomers and immigrants . We believe that all individuals, regardless of their country of origin, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and to have access to basic human needs. Our programs are designed to educate the service  provider about the challenges facing refugees in finding jobs and accessing government services  and advocate for policy changes that promote inclusion.

Programs:

  1. Immigrant support, citizenship application, passport, sponsor and other legal document that needed to access services and employment

  2. Resource and support programs: Referring and connecting  newcomers  including language classes, housing support and job training.

  3. Community engagement programs: We will develop programs to encourage volunteerism and civic engagement among refugees and immigrant communities, including community clean-up projects and voter registration drives.
